Inspiring and fun Padel holidays
Working in partnership with Tenpad, one of the largest UK padel communities, we curate inspiring and fun Padel holidays for all levels from keen beginners to advanced players.
Origins of Padel and Travel
I’m Tricia. I’m a former (county level) squash player from my teens and 20s and now a self confessed padel addict. I started playing on outdoor temporary courts with plastic surfaces that are slippery as an ice rink when wet or dewy. My 14 years of competitive ice skating in Canada did nothing for me on the slippery padel courts.
I’d only had a couple of months of lessons when the wet UK weather set in. But I had the bug, I didn’t want to miss lessons or games due to the weather or injure myself on the courts. While it was coming up to a traditionally quiet period in my photography business, I thought hey, why not go play padel and have some lessons somewhere in the sun.
We’d recently been to Egypt on a family holiday and I feel in love with the country - its history, the natural beauty and their proud, passionate and welcoming citizens who are doing their best to exist in challenging economic conditions.
So I looked into playing padel in Egypt where I could enjoy the sun and relax during my downtime. With all year round sunshine, day time temperatures around 23 C in January, a lively working city and relatively affordable direct flights from London, Hurghada was the outstanding choice.
Improve your padel, have fun on holiday and support the local community
We’re committed to supporting the local community. Wherever possible we work with small local independent businesses and individuals so our money is going to those who need it most. We pay fair rates and fees to our local suppliers and we don’t enter into any hard negotiations just to save the equivalent cost of your mid morning coffee and croissant.
Let’s get ready to play some padel and have fun in the sun!
